In Our Own Words, this series will be shot on location throughout the country. Consequently, to keep our costs inline we are seeking local talent. Everything from freelance production assistants to screenwriters, line produces, associate producers, assistant directors and technicians. Additionally, we will audition actors.
God of the Oppressed, this feature length documentary will require freelance field producers and researcher/writers. The researcher/writers will read various books, papers and articles. After reading assigned materials researcher/writers will write executive summaries, propose interview questions and potentially perform other tasks as assigned. The producers will read the seminal texts but obviously cannot read all of the literature on black liberation theology. Consequently, the executive summaries will assist the producers in developing editorial content. Researcher/writers can work from anywhere in the county but must have internet access. Applicants must have at least a B.S degree and excellent writing and critical thinking skills. Payment will be on a per book/summary basis.
